Lately, Chinese Chemical Society announced 4 recipients of “the 3rd Chinese Chemical Society - Royal Society of Chemistry Young Chemist Award”. Prof. Zhangjie Shi of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Peking University is one of the awardees.
Chinese Chemical Society-Royal Society of Chemistry Young Chemist Award was founded in 2007 and it awards 4 distinguished young researchers (under 40-year-old) every two years who make great contribution in basic research, applied basic research and applied chemistry. The purpose of the award is to encourage the spirits of innovation, pioneering and aggression of our young chemist in China.
The other 3 awardees of this year are: Prof. Shu Wang of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Peng Wang of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Prof. Shuli You of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
