The Association of Yemeni Scholars condemned the assassination of Ali Larijani, Secretary-General of the Iranian National Council, and Gholamreza Soleimani, commander of the Mobilization Forces, stating that the operation constitutes a dangerous escalation and a full-fledged crime orchestrated by the United States and the Zionist entity.
In a statement, the Association affirmed that “the path of martyrdom is the path of victory,” stressing that targeting leaders will not weaken the axis of resistance, but will instead backfire on the “American and Israeli enemy” and will strengthen the stance and intensify the response.
The League praised the waves of missiles targeting cities in the Zionist entity, considering them “revenge for the oppressed” in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine, as part of an open battle against the forces of arrogance.
It considered that targeting U.S. bases scattered throughout the region constitutes a “legitimate response,” asserting that these bases were established to protect the Zionist entity and entangle Gulf states in the conflict, making them direct targets in any confrontation.
The statement emphasized that “neutrality is not an option” in this confrontation, describing it as a decisive battle between the Islamic nation and the camp of “disbelief” led by the United States and “Israel,” and calling for a clear and decisive stance in support of the resistance forces.
