On Friday morning, Israeli occupation forces prevented worshippers from performing Eid al-Fitr prayers in the Bab al-Amoud area of Jerusalem, amid a heavy deployment of occupation police and tightened military measures in the vicinity of the Old City.
Local sources reported that occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at Palestinians at Bab al-Sahira as they attempted to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform Eid prayers near its gates, amid restrictions on entry.
